British multi-family office firms SandAire and Lord North Street have agreed to merge. The combined firm will have 50 employees and offices in London, Geneva, and Singapore.

As per the terms of the agreement, both of the firms will retain their own branding but Lord North Street wil become a wholly owned subsidy of SandAire.

Also, Alex Scott – founder of SandAire Scott -will assume the role of executive chairman, while William Drake and Adam Wethered, who co-founded Lord North Street, will be vice-chairmen.

Alexandra Altinger has been named CEO of the newly formed group. She has over 20 years of experience in the global wealth and asset management industry. Most recently, she worked for Lansdowne Partners.

Scott said: "Together, we are very well positioned to meet the growing global need for families and endowments to access specialized objective guidance on their investments."

Scott added that the three founders will continue to remain active in the strategic direction of the firm and continue to interact directly with clients.
