Saltus Fund Management (Saltus), a London-based independent discretionary fund manager, has partnered with a fund promoter Alpha Diversify to deliver its advisory services outside of the UK, according to International Adviser.

Jon Macintosh, co-founder of Saltus, said: "We have a team which chooses funds all day long and, with regulatory initiatives like the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive review(MiFID II) and the review of the Insurance Mediation Directive making it less attractive for advisers to choose funds, we believe advisers will benefit from using our services."
Saltus offers three model portfolios via its discretionary fund management services for clients with £100k plus and £25k of investable assets as well as through a unitized version of its Saltus 67 model portfolio.
Founded in 2004 by Simon Armstrong and Jon Macintosh, Saltus has £450 million in assets under management and offers investment management service to retail clients.
Alpha Diversify, which is managed by partners Simon Bottle and Paddy Burtt, is currently working with ARIA Capital Management, a UK headquartered investment Services Company.
