American asset manager Russell Investments has appointed Paul Eitelman in its global team of investment strategists.
Eitelman will replace Doug Gordon who has been promoted to senior portfolio manager, tactical asset allocation strategies. Gordon now serves on the firm’s US multi-asset portfolio management team.

Eitelman will be based in Seattle and will report to the firm’s global head of investment strategy Andrew Pease in the new capacity.
His work will include researching and developing views to guide the firm’s multi-asset portfolios and services for institutional and retail investors.
Eitelman joins Russell Investments from J.P. Morgan, where he most recently held the post of vice president, senior economist in the company’s in New York office.
He served at J.P. Morgan since 2011, where he focused on global macroeconomic research and analysis as well as developed economic and market forecasting models.
