Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has hired John Burke as new head of institutional business effective from September 2015.
Burke will report to Rob Williams, head of distribution, and will be responsible for expanding the firm’s institutional arm.

Burke joined RLAM from Newton Investment Management, where he worked for more than 15 years and was most recently as head of business development.
"Burke is a great fit for RLAM and will bring fresh drive to our growth ambitions in the institutional space," added Williams.
Burke’s hire follows launch of the Royal London buy and maintain credit pooled pension fund in July 2015.
