Rothschild has appointed Alois Müller as managing director and head of its wealth management business in North Asia, based in Hong Kong.
Müller will take on his new role on 2 September 2013. This move follows the firm’s strategy to expand its asset management business in North Asia.

In his new role, Alois Müller, along with his team, will be responsible for building the company’s client business across North East Asia.
Müller joins Rothschild after a 35-year career at UBS, where he held a number of senior roles in Zurich, London, New York and most recently Hong Kong. He was there as head ultra high net worth clients responsible for different Asian countries.
Müller brings with him considerable experience across a broad spectrum of banking businesses, notably wealth management and structured and corporate finance.
