Prior to joining Rothschild, von Plant had spent 16 years at Morgan Stanley in London building the private wealth business for the firm, focusing on UHNW clients in Continental Europe.

During his association with Morgan Stanley, he held a variety of management positions and was also responsible for developing marketing and investment strategies.
In 2008, he returned to Zurich to run a single family office as chief investment officer and subsequently in 2010 he founded his own asset management advisory company and continued to manage assets for private individuals, as well as a privately owned commodity fund.
Currently, Rothschild Wealth Management has around US$16 billion in AUM.
