Kary has replaced Gary Powell who has moved over to take the role of head of strategy and corporate development.
Both Kary and Powell will take their new positions with immediate effect.

As the head of strategy and corporate development, Powell will work alongside the Rothschild Group’s co- chief executives, Nigel Higgins and Olivier Pecoux, to develop the group’s strategy with a particular focus on its wealth management and trust business.
Powell had joined Rothschild in 1994 as an investment banker before moving across to the wealth management business in 2006 where he will keep a place on the executive committee.
And Kary has been with Rothschild for the past two years having joined from Polar Capital where he had been chief executive since 2005.
He also has 19 years experience with Morgan Stanley’s wealth management business.
