In September 2020, The Moore Group exited Morgan Stanley to join Rockefeller’s private wealth management platform.

Last year, three private wealth management teams – the FMC Group, Amsler, Laborde & Bowman, and the ZWMG Team – also joined Rockfeller.

The three will be based in Walnut Creek, Houston, and Scottsdale, respectively.

Earlier this year, Rockefeller agreed to buy Illinois-based Whitnell & Co., a wealth management and multi-family office services firm owned by Associated Banc-Corp.

A $1.4bn business, Whitnell will serve as the primary Midwest office for Rockefeller’s family office services.
