RBS Private Banking, a part the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, has appointed Ranjit Menon as market head of south India.

In his new role, Menon will be responsible for developing new and existing client business in Bangalore and Chennai while growing the company’s presence in southern India.

Based in Bangalore, Menon will report to Shiv Gupta, managing director of RBS Private Banking.

Menon has more than 17 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.

Prior to this, he was with Franklin Templeton AMC, where he held the role of regional sales head of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
