Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has named Pierre Ferland as its new head of corporate and institutional banking (C&I) for Asia-Pacific, effective 1 May 2014.
In his new role, Ferland will be responsible for leading RBS’s wholesale bank in Asia-Pacific.

Ferland will join the corporate and institutional leadership team, led by Donald Workman, executive chairman for corporate & institutional banking.
Currently, Ferland serves as co-head of markets and international banking for Asia-Pacific.
Previously, he joined National Westminister Bank (NatWest) in Tokyo in 1997 as head of interest rate trading, eventually becoming the bank’s head of trading and branch in 2001.
As part of the restructuring, Madan Menon, who is co-head of markets and international banking for Asia-Pacific, has decided to leave the bank.
