McLaughlin will be based in Dublin and will report to Philip Harris head of UK private clients.
Additionally, he will work with the company’s client-facing staff in London as well as offshore to develop, manage and enhance relationships with intermediaries and advisers based in Ireland.

Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, McLaughlin was an investor relations consultant at biotechnology company Elan, where he was responsible for developing the firm’s shareholder base in Europe.
And before that, he has worked in a Dublin-based private family office where he was an investment adviser to an UHNW Irish family for six years.
