RBC Wealth Management-U.S. has named former Blackrock director Kim Mickelson as the new head of its retirement and fund solutions group.
Mickelson will be responsible for managing product management teams covering mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, 529s, annuities, IRAs as well as other individual and institutional retirement solutions.

Mickelson was a director in the U.S. Wealth Advisory Group at Blackrock. She also served as a national speaker for Blackrock on multiple topics including retirement planning, social security strategies and women and wealth.
Prior to joining Blackrock, she served as vice president of financial planning and product management at Ameriprise Financial.
