Ms Yap will act as a relationship manager responsible for developing relationships with UK resident, non-domicile high net worth and ultra high net worth clients from the East and South East Asian region – including Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia and Greater China – seeking wealth management solutions out of London.

Ms Yap’s career in private banking spans over 14 years, during which she has held various roles in the industry in London and New York. She joins from EFG Private Bank, where was tasked with building a book of high net worth Chinese resident and non-resident clients. Prior to this, she headed up the Global Chinese initiative at Standard Chartered Private Bank, and also led the Asian Business Development business at HSBC Global Asset Management.
