As a private client director, Choi will be responsible for managing the financial and estate planning interests of a portfolio of private clients across Asia-Pacific.
He will report to Hilary May, managing director, RBC Trust Company.

Previously, Choi was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he had worked since 2004, managing offshore wealth management structures, and having held a wide variety of assets including private equity, international real estate and portfolio investments.
Currently, RBC Wealth Management has more than US$573 billion of assets under administration and approximately 4,300 financial consultants, advisors, private bankers and trust officers.
