The directors Simon Smales and Sean Costello have joined the firm’s London-based UK private client wealth management team which is led by Philip Harris, Portfolio Adviser stated.

Smales had spent the last 10 years at HSBC Private Bank, where he was a director responsible for a portfolio of UK private clients.

Additionally, he had also worked closely with HSBC’s global banking and markets team.

Meanwhile Costello joins from Barclays where he was a vice president in UHNW and family office group working in London and New York.

Prior to working for Barclays, Costello had worked for Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley in New York.

As directors at RBC Wealth Management they will concentrate on their respective private client management expertise.
