RBC Wealth Management has lured a team of three advisors from UBS Wealth Management Americas that managed $200m in client assets.

The team, which includes James Winkler and Lauren Johnson, will join RBC’s office in Plano, Texas and will report to Greg Hornok, Plano branch director.
The team, known as the Winkler Group, previously generated about $1.3m in annual production.
Winkler, who has 34 years of industry experience, joined UBS in 1988, while Johnson with 12 years of experience joined UBS in 2003.
Additionally, client associate Randi Richardson will also join the new team.

By GlobalDataWinkler said that he intends to bring about 70% of the clients and assets they managed at UBS to RBC.
The pair allows family business owners and corporate executives to manage clients’ continuity plans, family trusts, 401(k) roll-overs, and retirement planning.
