RBC Investor & Treasury Services, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has been appointed global custodian by Italian fund management company Polaris Investment.
Under the agreement, RBC Investor & Treasury Services’ Investor Services business will provide Polaris with fund accounting, global custody, transfer agency, securities lending, cash management, collateral management, risk and investment compliance services. The account will be serviced in Luxembourg.

Founded in February 2004, Polaris is the largest Italian platform domiciled in Luxembourg, managing in excess of EUR6 billion of assets belonging to institutional investors.
Polaris holds a 100% controlling interest in Quaestio Capital Management SGR., a Milan-based quantitative asset management company.
