RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) has appointed Mayur Nallamala as senior portfolio manager and head of Asian Equities.

In his new role, Nallamala will manage RBC GAM’s US$1.5 billionn in Asian equity assets and lead a team of portfolio managers and analysts in Hong Kong.

Based in Hong Kong, Nallamala will provide insight on Asian equities and the economies of the region to support the company’s global investment management strategies.

Nallamala will work in partnership with RBC GAM managing director Adam Matthews, who leads the company’s GAM’s business and development activities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining RBC GAM, Nallamala has worked at JP Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong for eight years, where he managed JP Morgan’s US$4 billion in Asia Pacific ex-Japan mandates for sovereign wealth, institutional and retail clients globally.
