Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has named Toos Daruvala to its board of directors, effective 1 January 2015.
Daruvala joined RBC from McKinsey & Company, where he served as director and senior partner.

Daruvala, who joined McKinsey in 1983, currently oversees McKinsey’s risk management practice in the Americas and also headed the firm’s banking and securities practice in the region.
He also sits on the global board of McKinsey and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and the board of the New York Philharmonic.
