Raymond James Financial has lured a team of two financial advisors from UBS that managed more than US$200 million in client assets.
The team, which includes Matthew Rogers and Mark Christopher Norton, will join the firm’s Portland, Maine as senior vice president, Investments and vice president, Investments respectively.

The new advisory team, which will operate as Rogers Norton Wealth Management Group of Raymond James, previously had annual production in fees and commission of US$1.9 million.
Additionally, the team includes senior registered sales associate Adele Jacques.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Rogers worked as a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager in Portland at UBS. He also worked as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities in New York and started his career at in 1991 with Fidelity Brokerage Services.
Norton, who joined UBS in 2006, previously worked as a branch analyst, vice president and portfolio manager in Portland. He began his career at J&W Seligman as quality analyst in 2002.
