Raymond James Financial has lured a team of two financial advisers from JP Morgan Securities that managed over US$670 million in client assets.
The team, which includes Michael Cohen and Benjamin Cohen, will join the firm’s downtown Chicago office and will operate as Cohen Financial Management of Raymond James.

The duo will report to Raymond James’ Chicago complex manager, Brian Lampsa and will serve as managing directors and senior vice presidents for investments at Raymond James.
The team previously had annual production in fees and commission of more than US$4.2 million.
Additionally, the Cohen Financial Management team includes senior registered sales associates Patricia Litavec Carpenter, Camille Johnson and Kerry Bolinder.
Michael Cohen had started his career with Bear Stearns in 1975 and moved to JP Morgan Securities after JPMorgan acquired Bear Stearns in 2008. Benjamin Cohen has joined Bear Stearns in 2006.
