Raymond James Financial has lured a team of two financial advisers from Morgan Stanley that managed over US$180 million in client assets.

The team, which includes David Huffman and Aimee Boggs, will join the firm’s Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida office and will operate as Boggs Huffman Wealth Management Group of Raymond James.

Morgan Stanley said that the team previously had annual production in fees and commission of more than US$1.3 million.
The duo will join the firm as new senior vice presidents investments.

Huffman has joined Raymond James from Morgan Stanley, where he served as a vice president of wealth management and branch manager from 2007 to 2013. He started his career as an investment representative at Edward Jones in 2001 and later joined A.G. Edwards in 2004 as vice president and branch manager.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Boggs most recently served as vice president of wealth management at Morgan Stanley from 2009 to 2013. He also served as a vice president of wealth management for Citigroup Global Markets from 1996 to 2009. Boggs started her career as a CPA with Ernst and Whinney.
