Raymond James Financial has lured a Tennessee-based team of two financial advisers from Wiley Bros-Aintree Capital that managed nearly US$200 million in client assets.

The team, which includes Paul Allen and David Schadel, will join the firm in Brentwood, Tennessee, and will operate as Wealth Strategies Partners (WSP), an independent firm with securities offered through Raymond James Financial Services.

Allen and Schadel will join WSP as new president and vice president respectively.

Wiley Bros-Aintree Capital said that the team had annual production in fees and commission of more than US$1.4 million.

Allen with more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry is specialized in wealth management for high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining Raymond James, Allen has worked at Aintree Capital as vice president, investments. He started his career as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities.

Schadel has joined Allen’s practice in September 2010 as a financial advisor at Wiley Bros.-Aintree Capital. Prior to this, he served as branch manager and senior credit manager at Wells Fargo.

Additionally, a client services manager, Heather Beckwith, will also join the new team. Previously, Beckwith has worked with Raymond James for eight years, where he served as compliance advisor, supervisor of a fee-based platform and transition consultant.
