Raymond James Financial has lured a team of two advisers from Morgan Stanley that managed more than $300m in client assets.
The team, which includes Craig Houck and Richard Schooley, will join the firm’s Georgia office and will operate as Dogwood Wealth Advisors with offices in Atlanta and Savannah, GA.

Dogwood Wealth Advisors, which operates as independent firm offering securities through Raymond James, also aims to focus on retirement plans, individual financial planning and asset allocation.
Houck and Schooley will serve as managing partners and co-founders of Dogwood Wealth Advisors based in Atlanta and Savannah respectively.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Houck worked as a wealth advisor and senior vice president at Morgan Stanley, while Schooley spent 16 years as a wealth advisor at Morgan Stanley.
The team previously generated about $1.85m in annual fees and commissions.
