Raymond James Financial has appointed Peter Moores, CEO of Raymond James Investment Services (RJIS) as the UK country manager.

Moores retains his position with RJIS and now also oversees all Raymond James’ businesses in the UK including wealth management and capital markets. The appointment has been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Moores’ reporting lines with RJF will remain unchanged.
In his new role, Moores is expected to serve on the board of directors of the UK operating entities as CEO, act as conduit for communications between firm leadership and UK senior managers across all business lines and lead growth and coordination of all UK business units.
Moores joined Raymond James in December 2004 as RJIS CEO-designate in London before taking over the position in February 2005. Prior to Raymond James, he started his career at Chase Manhattan Bank completing both the associate development and financial analyst programmes.
Moores spent 10 years working at Chase Manhattan in New York, London and Frankfurt on the institutional side of the business before moving to DAB Bank in Munich. At DAB, a retail brokerage firm with a banking license, he ultimately headed the group development team. In 2002, he was seconded to London to run DAB Bank’s UK retail brokerage business as CEO.
