Raymond James & Associates (RJA) has hired Peter Alberding and Warren Wright to strengthen the firm’s Northeast presence.

Alberding has been named as branch manager of RJA’s first retail office in Boston’s downtown financial district, which is scheduled to open in April.

He has joined Raymond James from UBS, where he served various roles including financial advisor, branch manager and complex manager. He also spent three years working in UBS’ domestic wealth management business based in Switzerland and also served as COO of their western US division based in Chicago. He started his career as a financial advisor in 1997 with PaineWebber.

Wright has been named as mid-Atlantic complex manager based in RJA’s Pennsylvania Avenue branch in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Wright served a number of senior roles with Morgan Stanley, including branch manager and complex business development manager. Prior to this, he has worked for 10 years at Merrill Lynch as sales manager.
