Raymond James Financial has appointed Tim Killgoar as head of the financial institutions division (FID), replacing John Houston, who is stepping down from his position to take on the role of FID eastern division director.

Killgoar, who is current FID vice president and director of strategy and consulting, joined the division as director of strategy and consulting in May 2015.

Prior to this new role, he served as client experience director, focused on firm wide strategic advisor- and client-focused initiatives including process refinement, channel integration, collaboration, pricing, and other opportunities intended to improve satisfaction, experience, and loyalty.

He also held senior positions at Bank of America and Andersen Partners.
