Rathbone Investment Management has appointed former Brewin Dolphin divisional director Nick Liddle as an investment director in its Edinburgh office.
The latest hire brings the Rathbones headcount in Ebinburgh to 44.

Liddle in his new role will deal with investment portfolios for private clients and their trusts apart from self-invested personal pensions and charities.
Liddle, who has over two decades of experience in investment industry, will report to David Macaulay, regional director for Edinburgh.
Macaulay said: "Nick has built up an excellent reputation as an investment professional over his 25 years working in Edinburgh’s financial services sector and we are delighted that he has chosen to join Rathbones.
"Following the recent opening of our new office in Glasgow and the established Aberdeen office, Scotland now accounts for a significant proportion of Rathbones’ overall business, both in terms of assets and members of staff."
