Rathbone Brothers has bolstered its private client team by appointing Peter Lowe as new private client investment manager, according to FT adviser.
Prior to joining Rathbone, Lowe has served as a director of investment management and head of collective’s research at Smith & Williamson (S&W).

Lowe, who joined S&W in 1995, was also part of the active solutions group of managers behind Smith & Williamson’s range of guided architecture portfolios.
Previously, he looked after discretionary private clients as well as leading the team that recommends collective funds and also supported the six discretionary model portfolios Smith & Williamson made available to advisers over Novia.
Meantime, the firm has launched a share placing to raise money to buy up more businesses in the short to medium term.
