Ramius partners with Quadratic Capital to launch new global macro strategy
Ramius, the global investment management arm of Cowen Group, has teamed up with Quadratic Capital to launch a new options-based, fundamental global macro strategy.

Quadratic Capital uses liquid options and swaptions across asset classes and aims to deliver an absolute return, fundamental global macro strategy with low volatility and defined risk.
The Ramius platform will enable Quadratic Capital’s portfolio team to focus on investing.
Quadratic Capital is headed by managing partner and CIO Nancy Davis as well as her partner David Seif.

Ramius, which managed $11.6bn in assets as of 1 July 2014, is an alternative investment platform offering products and solutions across the liquidity spectrum to institutional and private clients.
