Memphis-based wealth management firm Radian Partners, has acquired Gazelle Wealth Management of Union City in a private transaction from Gazelle owner Phyllis Edwards, according to Memphis Business Journal.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The deal brings more than 100 clients with assets of about US$15 million under the Radian Partners banner and boosts the total value of the firm’s assets under management to about US$150 million.

The Gazelle acquisition will also extends the company’s service area into Northwest Tennessee.

As part of the deal, J Patrick McDowell, who heads Radian operations in West Tennessee outside of Memphis, has established an office in Union City.

Radian Partners, which operates from offices in East Memphis and Franklin, Tennessee, said it is also looking at expansion opportunities in Little Rock and possibly Jackson, Mississipi.
