The move comes after a review of PSigma’s products following the group’s acquisition by Miton in July 2013. Therefore, investment manager Neil Cumming and research analyst David Hallam will step down from the PSigma Income Fund.
In his new role, Williams will focus on stock selection while Mott will continue to research the macroeconomic and stock market environment, as well as the fund’s key themes.
Williams has previously served as the managing director of Miton Group and as manager of the Diverse Income Trust. Following the purchase of Psigma, Miton’s UK equities team has been expanded to seven fund managers, who manage six portfolios.
The team consisting of Williams, Mott and Moore will work closely with the broader UK equity team and use inputs and ideas from the entire team to focus in on the key stocks for the PSigma Income Fund.
