Prudential has hired Michael Coop and Ciaran Mulligan as new members to its Portfolio Management Group (PPMG), an asset management unit that manages over £155.2bn of Prudential’s investments.
Coop will join PPMG as head of multi-asset portfolio management, while Mulligan will join as head of manager oversight.

The pair will work as part of the team of over 60 economists, portfolio managers, analysts and risk professionals at PPMG.
Coop joined Prudential Ibbotson Associate, where he worked as head of multi-asset and also as head of alternative investments.
Mulligan was formerly head of manager research (UK) for South African multi-manager business Investment Solutions. Prior to this, he also worked with Buck Consultants.
