Australia-based Praemium has named its head of platform distribution, Jon Farmer, as new COO for international and UK businesses.
Also, Rebecca Murphy has been named head of investment solutions and distribution.

Farmer, in his new role, will report to group COO Chris Silcox.
Farmer, who joined Praemium in 2011, previously held positions at BNP Paribas Securities Services and Jupiter Unit Trust Managers.
Farmer said: "My role will be to ensure we have the right operational infrastructure in place to continue to deliver a high quality service to all existing and new clients, whilst maximizing the opportunities that we have identified as a business."
Silcox said: "Jon’s experience in operations and product development coupled with his understanding of our clients’ requirements and Praemium’s business make him the ideal candidate for the role."
