Piraeus Bank and BNP Wealth Management have concluded a strategic partnership in global Wealth Management in the countries where Piraeus Bank Group is present. The partnership is expected to offer products and services in the domestic market as well as in international wealth management.

The partnership is expected to be materialized by two new joint ventures, one in Greece and one in Switzerland. The bank says that this will allow the clients to access global wealth management solutions, products and services in the domestic as well as in the international wealth management market.
However, the completion of the strategic partnership is subject to the appropriate regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close in the last quarter of 2009.
