PIMCO, a global investment management firm, has hired Iain McNaught, Simon Peters, Sean Heymann and Aylon Ben-Shlomo to join its global equities teams as part of its multi-year effort to deepen and expand its equity solutions for investors.

McNaught and Peters will be Senior Vice Presidents and part of the build-out of a global growth team, based in London. Heymann and Ben-Shlomo are analysts with PIMCO’s dividend strategies, based in Newport Beach.

PIMCO has also named Melissa Tuttle, an Executive Vice President based in London, as Global Head of Equity Trading. In this role,Tuttle will manage day-to-day operations and performance oversight of PIMCO’s regional equity desks and staff.

Biographies:

Iain McNaught:

McNaught will be a Senior Vice President based in the London office, focusing on global growth strategies in technology, media and telecoms. Prior to joining PIMCO, Mr. McNaught was a global equity analyst at Sarasin & Partners LLP in London, responsible for picking stocks for Sarasin’s global family of funds. Prior to this, he worked at Schroders in London, in a variety of equity analyst and portfolio management roles including European equity and small and mid-cap equity. Mr. McNaught has a Master of Engineering (Honours) from Imperial College, London.

Simon Peters:

Mr. Peters will be a Senior Vice President based in the London office, focusing on global growth strategies in financials. Prior to joining PIMCO, Mr. Peters was head of financial specialist sales at Nomura in London. Prior to that, he was director of financials and fund manager at Henderson/Gartmore, on the firm’s global financial fund, managing a team of analysts. He has also held roles in financials portfolio management and equity research analysis with the Government of Singapore Investment Corp. and BNP. Mr. Peters is a CFA and has Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honours) from the University of Exeter, U.K.

Sean Heymann:

Heymann will be a research analyst with PIMCO’s dividend strategy, based in Newport Beach. Prior to joining PIMCO, he was at Neuberger Berman where he was the lead analyst on coverage of Master Limited Partnerships and an associate analyst on utilities, energy and alternative energy. He has held positions in equity research analysis at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, with a focus on U.S. metals and mining. Mr. Heymann holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami.

Aylon Ben-Shlomo:

Ben-Shlomo will be a research analyst with PIMCO’s dividend strategy, based in Newport Beach. He was part of PIMCO’s MBA program, having graduated from UCLA Anderson School of Management with an MBA in Finance. Prior to this, he worked as an analyst at Ivory Investment Management in Los Angeles and was an auditor at Deloitte & Touche in New York. Mr. Ben-Shlomo also holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland and was awarded the CFA designation in 2011.

Melissa Tuttle:

Tuttle joined PIMCO in August 2010 from Goldman Sachs Asset Management where she was an Executive Director responsible for developed market and emerging market equity, future, swap, ETF, and access product execution. Prior to Goldman Sachs, she worked as a Vice President in equity trading for Prudential Investments. Early in her career she was a trader for emerging market equities at HSBC Asset Management and a junior trader for the Latin American equities team at Baring America Asset Management. Ms. Tuttle holds a Bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts.
