American investment management firm PIMCO has appointed Virginie Maisonneuve as managing director, global head of equities and portfolio manager, effective from January 2014.
Based in the firm’s London office, Maisonneuve will be responsible for leading PIMCO’s active equity portfolio management, while also be responsible for the development and introduction of new equity and asset allocation strategies.

Prior to joining PIMCO, Maisonneuve most recently served as head of global and international equities at Schroders.
