Pictet Wealth Management (PWM) has named Cesar Perez Ruiz as new chief investment officer (CIO), effective 1 March 2016.
Ruiz will chair the investment committee, which comprises of Pierre-Alain Wavre, CEO of Pictet Investment Office, and Christophe Donay, head of asset allocation & macro research.

Ruiz joined PWM from JPMorgan Private Bank, where he was most recently chief investment strategist for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and also worked as global head of investment strategy.
Ruiz, who has over 20 years’ experience of investment strategies in both wealth and institutional asset management, has previously held roles at M&G and Credit Suisse Asset Management, managing large teams of up to 100 people.
