Bank Pictet & Cie (Asia), the private banking arm of Pictet Group, has hired Goldman Sachs banker Dominique Jooris as the new CEO for Singapore, effective 11 July 2016.

Jooris will also serve as the CEO of Pictet Wealth Management South Asia, responsible for spearheading the business’ development in South and South East Asia. He will report to Pictet Wealth Management Asia CEO Claude Haberer.

Jooris, who began his career at JP Morgan with the M&A Group, has a banking experience of over 20 years, including 10 in Asia.

He held various prominent roles at Goldman Sachs since 2005, most recently as the managing director responsible for credit capital markets for Asia.

Bank Pictet & Asia has been operating in Singapore since 1995, and received a merchant banking licence in 2004. Pictet Wealth Management has a presence in the region since 1986 and secured a banking licence in 2012.
