Swiss-based Pictet Asset Management has named Niall Quinn as new global head of institutional business (excluding Japan), replacing Christoph Lanter – who will step down from the firm after a spell of 17 years.
Based in London, Quin will assume his new role at the end of February 2016.

Quinn, who has 20 years of experience in the asset management industry, joined Pictet from Eaton Vance Management International, where he worked as managing director.
At Eaton Vance, he was responsible for all their operations outside North America, focusing on institutional business development.
