Parker Asset Management has re-launched in Australia under a new name, Altair Asset Management, Financial standard reported.

The re-launch of Parker Asset reflects the company’s strategy to increase the realms of it business to include institutional and retail clients, to its current portfolio of family office and private wealth investment.

Parker Asset Management, founded in 2000 by Philip Parker, is an Australia-based company that is engaged in serving high net worth and ultra high net worth investors.

The company has hired former Lehman Brothers and ING Investment Management head of research and chief economic adviser Stephen Robert to focus on diversifying its offering.

Altair is expected to announce additional staff members in due course.
