US-based OppenheimerFunds has expanded its marketing capabilities across brand marketing, market planning and strategy, and product development with the addition of three senior executives.
The company has appointed Peter Mintzberg as senior vice president of strategy and market planning. Stephen Tisdalle has been named senior vice president of brand marketing and Rupa Athreya as head of product development.

Mintzberg joins from BlackRock, where he held various positions during his more than seven years at BlackRock, including the roles of head of marketing and head of strategy, Latin America and Iberia, and was a senior member of its Global Corporate Strategy Group.
Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds, Tisdalle served as managing director of Ogilvy & Mather, responsible for strategic marketing services across the agency.
Athreya previously served as head of strategy for Chase Wealth Management, a unit of JPMorgan Chase.
According to OppenheimerFunds, Tisdalle and Mintzberg will report to chief marketing officer, Martha Willis, while Athreya will report to Lori Heinel, head of investment products.
