Opes Advisors, a US-based wealth management and mortgage banking firm has expanded its presence into the Puget Sound area by opening a new branch in Kirkland.

Additionally, the firm is planning to open more branches in 2014, which will create almost 100 jobs.

The new Kirkland branch will be led by Donovan Douvia.

Opes Advisors said that Robert Lipston is now overseeing business development as the regional director of the Pacific Northwest.
