OpenGate Capital, a global private buyout firm, has hired Marc Veillas as senior vice president responsible for the management and oversight of the firm’s European portfolio of businesses.

Veillas is an experienced operations executive with a proven track record of leading industrial restructuring and recovery plans. He has expertise in financial and operational restructuring, large scale cost reduction initiatives, and reorganization projects leading to the achievement of profit and cash flow optimization.
In addition, Veillas is experienced in divestitures and acquisitions having actively supported a large range of M&A projects over the past 10 years. He has more than 20 years of experience in several turnaround and restructuring situations across various industries including automotive, food and beverage, electronic and defense, office furniture, as well as recreational marine. Veillas’ background is highly relevant to OpenGate Capital’s current portfolio and the many pending acquisitions currently in the firm’s pipeline.
