Old Mutual Wealth has appointed Towers Watson’s Jane Goodland in the newly created role of head of responsible business.

Goodland, who will join the firm in August 2015, will be responsible for leading the firm’s work on responsible business. She will report to customer director Carlton Hood.

In her new role, Goodland will develop the responsible business strategy and governance structure across the firm’s five pillars of responsible business which include its customers, employees, the communities the business operates in, the environment, and the way the business invests.

Goodland will make sure that the strategy is incorporated in all of Old Mutual Wealth’s business lines.

This includes The Intrinsic network of financial advisers, the discretionary fund manager Quilter Cheviot, asset manager Old Mutual Global Investors, the UK wealth management unit, Old Mutual Wealth, and the cross-border wealth management arm Old Mutual International.
