Old Mutual Global Investors has expanded its Asian equities team by hiring Diamond Lee as new portfolio manager.

In his new role, Lee will be responsible for assisting the Asian team in selecting Chinese stocks.

Lee will initially work in London and then move to Hong Kong to work for the group’s Asian Pacific business after receiving regulatory approvals.

Lee will report to Josh Crabb, head of Asian equities.

Lee joined Old Mutual from Ignis Asset Management where he managed several Asian Equity funds.
