Ogier has named Ulrich Payne as a new partner for its dispute resolution team in Cayman Islands.
Payne, an experienced litigator focusing in complex international disputes usually with a financial element, most recently served as a partner at Kirkland & Ellis International in London.

He has served in some of Europe’s largest jurisdictions, such as the UK, France, Germany and Belgium, and has advised on significant disputes in Russia, the Middle East as well as the US.
Previously, Payne also had stints at London firms Simmons & Simmons and Hogan Lovells.
Ogier’s Cayman Islands team is headed by partner Rachael Reynolds.
