Adviser-owned wrap Nucleus has named Adam & Co finance director Doug Heron as new its new CFO, replacing Aileen Mathieson.
In his new role, Heron will oversee the finance, risk and compliance functions at Nucleus as well as manage a team of 14.

Heron will report directly to managing director Stuart Geard.
At private bank Adam & Company, Heron served as finance director since 2009.
Prior to this, Heron held a number of senior roles at the private bank’s parent Royal Bank of Scotland including head of finance for its private banking division. He also worked deputy CFO for a partnership business between RBS and Bank of China.
Mathieson left Nucleus in September to join Zurich as chief investment officer to its UK Life business.
