The new DFM will provide a range of risk rated portfolios using passive instruments including OEICs and exchange-traded funds.
Novia will charge about 25 basis points plus VAT for the portfolios, which will be run and managed by Evrin Erdem, who joined the Novia group as Copia head of investment in August 2013.

Erdem previously worked at Fidelity and Nutmeg, where she designed and ran the investment systems.
Copia Investment Committee will oversee the management of the portfolios and the committee will be chaired by John Beaumont.
Novia Financial CEO Bill Vasilieff said the company saw a huge growth in new business inflows into discretionary fund managers.

Novia is also planning to launch a range of core/satellite portfolios in 2014, which will be made up of a range of underlying investments including investment trusts.
