Northern Trust has named Henry Johnson as new executive vice president and vice chairman of wealth management in the East Region.
Based in Northern Trust’s New York City office, Johnson will report to East Region president David Blowers.

In his new role, Johnson will oversee the Northeast business, with John Hoffman, president of Greater New York, and Bill Buccella, president of New England, reporting to him.
Johnson joined Northern Trust from Fiduciary Trust Company International, where he served as chief executive officer. He has also held several leadership roles since joining Fiduciary in 1994.
He has also worked with The Blackstone Group, Sotheby’s, Inc. and Sullivan & Cromwell.
